Scenic Art: Taking Something

And Painting It To Look Like Something Else

I started painting themeparks and visitor attractions for Farmer Studios Ltd back way back in 1996. In 2014 I was asked to take on the scenic art for Blunderbus Theatre Company's production of 'Hugless Douglas' and, I'm pleased to say, I returned to paint all their subsequent shows.

I'm now the regular Set Designer and chief Scenic Artist for Little Blue Monster Productions and I also freelance for other companies and organisations. As well as painting, I also take on propmaking and polystyrene-sculpture work.

I'm still available for freelance visitor attraction, exhibition and festival commissions and am happy to paint whatever the project requires, from beautiful window displays to grim urban-gothic ruins!
